The Festival of Trees is a growing exhibit that gets better each year. Along with the trees George Johnson continues his traditional designing one room of the Bowen House each year a different theme. Details

The Bowen House, Community Center for Arts and Education is open year round.

Admission is free unless otherwise stated.

We are grateful for the excellent support we receive in a myriad of ways from all of you for The Bowen House exhibits, programs & events.

Moving On Up is the name of this year's Membership Drive because that is just what we plan to do. The Board President, Bruce Bowens, has recruited a team of those who can get-'r-done.

Over the past few years we have offered a variety of programming such as: a new exhibit every month, established two music events per month, The Ladies Tea Social, Community Coffee, Children's Summer Arts Experience, a monthly Literary Evening, Wine/Beer Tasting, evening hours, etc. We have created a mini gift shop with some local members and held exhibits & events in conjunction with the Logan-Hocking Schools, Hocking County Historical Society, Relay For Life, & Hocking County Children's Chorus. We have also completed a professional house inspection to determine any upkeep that is needed. Within the next membership year we will continue with additional programs, workshops and exciting exhibits. Examples include an art exchange with the Delaware Arts Castle in Delaware Ohio and literary workshops.
